WOW, this was absolutely the best experience ever. I picked a car out online. Got pre-qualified. Got a call in 5 minutes, got completely approved in minutes. And a rate that surprised me bigtime. Thet scheduled me an appointment for yest drive. It was waiting for me. Gavin, Jennifer, and Nicole were awesome. Made me feel special. I saw other customers also being treated amazing. This place has it figured out. I will only ever buy from Carmax. And the bonus is that the SUV is mint and looks new. A million thanks to all that made it happen.

The only car dealership I actually enjoy going to! This location is fantastic! My fiancé and I just bought a vehicle yesterday from Carmax in San Jose and after several stops at other local competitors, this was an easy transition from all of the aggressive and forceful buying tactics and fancy wordplay to confuse you that the "standard" mega dealerships hit you with. Salman took care of us and was very professional and friendly. Not an ounce of pressure to buy, no awkward numbers being thrown around that you need to prepare for. Everything is transparent and it was nice to do business with Carmax. I had mentioned I heard what i believed to be the front brakes acting up before our purchase and was taken care of immediately! Had a great experience selling my car, I appreciate the hassle free experience. I recognize I could get more money through private sale, but the thought of having to manage test drives and payment turns me off of the idea. I showed up on a Friday afternoon without an appointment, and while there was a bit of a wait, I managed to beat the rush. However, I would recommend an appointment, and be aware that the weekends are the busiest times. The facilities were clean and there were plenty of helpful people to assist with any questions. The selling process felt efficient and signing all the paperwork was painless. I was able to deposit the check the same day with no problems.

Saphie, Jay and Jorge in the service department are the BEST!! They took such good care of me when my truck got scratched from the delivery. The backup camera was out too, they fixed it! They also hooked me up with brand new tires and shocks!! Then later the air system had a problem. They fixed that and my rattly back slider, all under warranty! Super smooth. Carmax is great but their service team at Capitol is fantastic!

My first time purchasing from Carmax and me and my husband are so much happy we did!
