I bought my first car ever from CarMax of Waterbury today and could not possibly be more pleased! My rep, Matt, went out of his way to make me comfortable that I was in good snd experienced hands every step of the way. The entire CarMax experience is constructed to make selecting, financing and finalizing documents as seamless and non-stressful as possible. The delivery condition of the car I picked was as good, if not better than, any vehicle I have bought new, not to mention used, over the previous 40 years. Bravo and kudos to Matt, his management team and CarMax for making my car buying experience completely flawless! Five stars!!!

I had the worst experience with the Waterbury CarMax called and I was approved with financing . I asked for a car in California CarMax . The salesman wanted to sell me a different car . I asked 3 times and he responded back the same way. I hung up on him . I searched the internet for 2 hours and found the same type of car at Sundance Chevrolet in Michigan and I bought the car info wanted . No Bait and switch tactics like CarMax . Best thing ever to buy from a family owned then a corporation who only cares for the bottom line.

From start to finish everyone I had contact with was amazing. I had no plans to purchase a vehicle and just came to look. I had never been at a carmax before and was passing one on my route home and decided to stop. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and asked if I had ever been before. The receptionist then explained how the company works and I was on the lot opening doors and checking out every car that was available when in two minutes. I found an “Easter egg” and it was way too good of a deal to pass up. I even went to a Hyundai dealership to see if they could get me a better deal. Nope, carmax was way too great of a deal to pass up. My carmax journey, start to finish, was about 24 hours, and we brought home a 2024 Hyundai Tucson with under 5k miles. Ray, Sam, Matt
