Carolina Auto Direct - Service

It was easy to get an appointment for an inspection. However, after waiting for an hour, I checked on my vehicle and was told there was an equipment problem holding it up. They finally got toner for their printer but said my van failed inspection. Apparently, I needed tires and wipers to pass. My tires and wipers were not two years old yet and showed wear, but were still in good enough shape that they should have passed. Tires still have tread all the way across and my wipers weren’t even warped or torn. They make no money on inspections and this just felt like a way for them to make money for themselves. I don’t like being taken advantage of. We took our other vehicle and went home. Not trusting them again. We don’t recommend them.

It cost me a whole lot more than I ever thought I'd have to pay for an inspection! Said I had a broken tag light, so they "fixed" it (they put in a new bulb) and they took off my brand new $80 wipers and put on $15 wipers and charged me over $100 all together! I would never recommend them and I will never ever go back!
