Updated Review: Got in contact with the owner of the company and found that there were a series of clerical and automation issues that led to my situation. He was able to lower the price of my new tires and labor to the appropriate price (~$625). When using this company, or any mechanic for that matter, that you get a written quote before any work begins if the work will cost at least $350. It's required by law in NC. As long as all of the automation in this company works the way it is intended, it should be a satisfying experience. Original Review: I made an appointment online to get my tires replaced. This shop used to be the go-to place for my wife and I. However, the entire operation/management changed and everything has been downhill. You can no longer go inside of the shop, there's nobody working there and all appointments must be made via an app. I dropped off a car to have a diagnostic done but eventually had to pick it back up after it just sat in the parking lot for days. The only way you can get in contact with anyone is via text. SMH. I'm not sure what happened to this business. When it was Clayton Lube & Tune it was a very good shop. Not any more. What a tragedy.

They picked up my vehicle on Wednesday, which worked at pick up. Just wanted a few maintenance items done (Fuel filter, radiator coolant exchange, automatic transmission, and to look at the AC). The communication is poor, the time estimated was incorrect, I ended up car-less over the weekend my sister was having her wedding shower. Then, the car was returned to me Monday, and after the low low price of over several hundred dollars , the car will not even start now. They are now claiming because the drove it here fine, they are not sure what other issues the car that was working perfectly fine before In their care may have. But they will take a look.. I trusted this shop with my 2021 Nissan NV2500, and the experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. First off, I clearly explained the problem: the van had serious starting issues (sluggish crank, dying immediately, needing to sit with the ignition on for 10 minutes before it would finally start). I also provided them with a full OBD scan showing the codes (P0507 idle air control, P0171/P0174 lean conditions, etc.), and gave them the van on Thursday morning. I was told it would be done no later than Monday evening. Instead, they didn’t even start working on it until Sunday, and then told me Monday night that they had ordered the wrong part. This place is not a legitimate business, it is a SCAM! The positive reviews are from the old business that used to be in this space. They stole over $3K from us. I went there to try to get our vehicle back and another customer walked up telling me they took almost $5,000 from him. Typical scam, they will pretend to be attentive and on top of things until they get your money. Communication stops at that point. Dont fall for the fancy calls or website. It is a SCAM. They should be in prison, not in business. I can't believe that this is allowed to go on in Clayton. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else.
