Carolina International Trucks and Idealease COLUMBIA

Brought my truck in November 18, 2025 around 12:30p. I was told that it probably be the next day before they took a look at it. (That’s not the problem). I received an email giving me a quote on Wednesday for a little over $1300 for a brake valve repair. I agreed to go ahead with the service. My truck was in the shop Wednesday the 19th & Thursday the 20th. I called on Thursday about the status of my truck. The lady on the phone said “I was just about to call you, all that’s left to do is a test drive. So I never heard anything else after that conversation. I go to the shop on Friday November 21st & my truck is still in the shop. I was told it’s not gonna be ready bc the mechanic is still hearing an air leak. Dont buy a truck from here, all they care about is your money, not real issues with a $200,000 truck. **CHECK-IN**(a year later) Okay so a year later still more problems and issues with these guys. Bought a new 2017 International HX Tri-Axle that has had nothing but issues. Brought it into Carolina International Columbia to address a popping sound in the front end. 4days later they call say its ready...5hours later the part they claim to have fixed came apart while I was loaded, causing the trk to careen unexpectedly off the road, through a ditch and into the woods. After 2months of the trk sitting on their yard, they refuse to take responsibility for their negligent and poor maintenance standards. I tried to change my star rating to no stars, but Google won't let me change it! 😠😤

Had my driver bring my unit into the shop for some basic repairs and Alyssa took care of me. She did a great job and answered all my questions. But I had called in during her lunch break and spoke to an “Allison”, she was very rude and essentially told me since it wasn’t her ticket she couldn’t give me an update on the truck. I asked to speak to her manager and she said she’d transfer me and then the line disconnected. The work was done right, and Alyssa did great, but Allison will prevent me or my drivers from coming back
