Brought in an engine block, head, and flywheel to be tested, bored, and surfaced in the machine shop. Drove all the way from Russellville, 90 miles each way, because Modern Parts had historically been the best place around in my opinion. 4-6 week lead time. Ended up being 8 weeks. No big deal. It was a project truck I was working on, so I didn’t need it done fast. Had a rebuild kit shipped directly to the store so their machinist had new pistons to hone cylinders to for a perfect fit. Picked up my parts at the end of the day when the shop was closing up so I didn’t look too close at everything. Got home to discover gouges in the cylinder walls. Brought the block back to have it looked at. Machinist discovered that their hone was worn out and dragging rivets, damaging my cylinder walls. The

When my key fob died a tragic death, I was panicked. I had no idea what was wrong with my car that I couldn’t start it. I went to Modern Parts and Liz replace the battery in my key fob and made everything good again. She is awesome and, she saved my life and I love her. Great customer service!

I like going to Modern Parts because they have a better understanding and knowledge about the various parts I need for my vehicles, especially my antique car needs.
