If I could leave a negative review, I would. Joey led us to believe this would be a great vehicle, but the moment we saw it, it was clear there were major issues. The car was sitting in a pool of oil, and the lifters were so loud it sounded like they might come through the hood. We drove eight hours expecting to buy this vehicle, only to discover how poor its condition truly was. After pointing out these serious problems, the dealership only offered to fix a minor issue, one that, based on Joey’s reaction, they were clearly already aware of. After we declined to purchase the Jeep, no alternative vehicles were offered for us to even look at. Beware: Dishonest and Untrustworthy, Don’t Let This Happen to Your Family I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but I feel a responsibility to warn others after what happened to my family with a purchase from Carricks Autos. We bought an Acura MDX from this dealership under the condition that the timing belt service, (one of the most critical maintenance items) would be completed since it was well past due. They promised it was done, even signed off on it with purchase agreement, (“We Owe” Picture). Because we were on a tight timeline, we even traded in our vehicle—severely undervalued—just to make the deal happen. We later saw Carricks flip it almost immediately for a large profit.
