Carte’s Tire and Auto Center

Went 6 months ago had an inspection done but also had brake pads put on front. Took my own part and everything, when I was there they said we didn't need to do the pads because they were at half pad still, I told them I didn't care and wanted them replaced still. Paid them for this service. Just had it looked over and was told my front brake pads are at a quarter now. There's no way they did what I PAID them to do. Would not recommend them to anyone they will charge you take your money but not do the service you paid for.

This is a very remarkable garage. I don't go anywhere else for tires, inspections, and/or repairs. I actually live over 40 minutes from them but it's always worth the drive. Their customer service is the best that I have ever had from a garage in over 35 years of driving. Both the owner himself and each of his employees do all that they can to help you with whatsoever you're there to have done. Irregardless of whether you requested an appointment, have an emergency, or just stop by; you still receive the same quality of service and fair price every time! The Cooper tires that they sell me, for both my SUV and my sedan, are the best that I've ever purchased for any of my vehicles. My wife was coming home to Tennessee from Ohio when her Suburban broke down with a bad wheel bearing. After talking to a few people we were told to talk to Carte’s. Our vehicle got fixed by a staff that made our entire family feel welcome and for a price that was half of what I would have expected. I recommend these people to anyone

This is the most wonderful, friendly & trustworthy family owned business here in Kanawha valley. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!! I came in very distraught not knowing what was wrong with my van and he could tell me right away. Thomas took such great care of us and even got our price lowered and worked with me very well. Very kind people work here! Down to earth and friendly. The kind of people you hope for when needing a mechanic or help with tires! They're quick and their tow service has helped me multiple times. If you don't have a ride and need to wait while they work on your ride, their waiting room is comfortable with plenty of seating, a tv, coffee and a warm fireplace if it's cold out!
