Back in 2019, I bought my first car from Carvana. If you tallied up all the hours I wasted at traditional dealerships over the years— literally days of my life. I'd call ahead specifically to ask if they had any manual-transmission cars on the lot, only to show up and find out I'd been lied to just so they'd get me in the door and try to talk me out of my one non-negotiable requirement. I finally got fed up. So I decided to take the plunge: buy a car online without ever seeing it or test-driving it—something I'd always considered way too risky. I don't even know where to begin. I placed my order for the car, they delay the order due to paperwork. Whatever ig. They get it to me 4 days later cuz I chose delivery for a Thursday the next appointment available wasn't until Monday. I get the car on time Monday with no problems to my knowledge. I get in and take it for a test drive cuz my experience buying cars like this theyre usually road ready and good to be inspected. Right? Boy was I in for the ride of my life. I get in and the tire light goes off. Whatever its cold out and its probably been sitting. So I go to fill these just about EMPTY TIRES. I notice a SLASH. Yes, a SLASH. In my passenger front tire. Its not leaking or at least fast enough I noticed but it was deep enough to expose wires. I get down further to inspect cuz there

Sold my car to Carvana. We had to drive to them to drop it off, but they gave top dollar and it took less than 10 minutes for them to process the paperwork and pay me the expected price. No haggling, no low ball, virtually no discussion.

Can't complain. Had a car for sale, went to their website, filled in all the information, and got an immediate and very good offer. I accepted, signed everything online, delivered the car a couple days later, and they handed me a check for the full amount with no questions asked. Pretty slick.

Technology driven. Not for the technical challenged.
