Had these guys as my main repair shop for my 1996 Chevrolet S10, fixed my truck all throughout college . My last fix I let them know that I would need the truck road ready to visit family for the holidays, got repairs and standard tuneup costing $700 and the truck didnt take long for them to fix…. Within 3 days my truck started to drive funny, took it back to the shop. The gentleman with glasses who apparently “fixed” my truck drove it around the block and came back, truck had no issues, told me “bring her back if she has any issues”, drove her home and she drove fine.. pretty sketchy . Trusted the guy. Took her about 161 miles to Valdosta and she broke down on me, wouldnt crank or start. Had to get repairs done pulled three codes from the ignition. TALLAHASSEE PLEASE BEWARE.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! Brought my truck in to replace fuel sensor. After 3 months, over dozen plus phone calls. I finally got my truck back. The truck I drove into the shop with no major issues no longer ran and the mechanic had "replaced" several other parts. When questioned he admitted he had exchanged them with used parts. Neither were approved by me. Was legally forced to pay to get my vehicle back. Now having to have it towed to dealership. Have reported incident to the BBB.

My stepdad told me about this place to get my car fixed, and I ve tried several times to get in contact with the shop, even going up to the shop myself and looking for Bill. I have left voicemails and even told the mechanic next door about it and he said he’d have someone reach out. Nobody ever did. There isn’t even an another way to get in contact like a website. It is hard to support small local businesses when they don’t make it easier to get service. Very disappointed with this experience 👎🏾

When my Suburban broke down five years ago the AAA tow driver suggested Bill Cayson. He fixed the problem on the spot and was very reasonable. Since then I have been back for other issues and always leave satisfied and not feeling like I payed too much.

Mr. Cayson is an awesome mechanic and wonderful person. He knows how to fix just about anything. But if he doesn't or if it's going to cost too much, he will tell you.
