DO NOT GO:Black History month. It's that time of year and my car needs to be inspected. So, I decided to take my business to a Black Own establishment. Cee Johnson Auto Service, located at 5532 Chestnut Street in Phila. Everyone tried hidden fees, hazardous Materials, $1.00? emission program communication fee, $2.40. Shop supplies, $2.00 After checking over the receipt, invoice has one price, but visa was charged another price. So, if you go, please check your receipt. Shady. In addition, I was informed I needed new brakes. The price, $798.24. My brain went numb and the only thing I could think of was to run. I then started on a mission by networking with family and friends. When I mention the price, the reply what?? I was being "punked". Had to be. So, after talking to other

I went to get my car inspected and was racially profiled. I arrived and told them I was there to get my car inspected when there was no one in the waiting room and they told me I was next. So I waited. Someone came out and asked if I was with someone there because we shared similar skin tones and when I confirmed that we weren’t, they insisted that I wait outside instead of in my seat. I was the only customer they offered it to. I was offended so ultimately I just waited in my car with my newborn child and wife. I went in after that and they put other customers before me who showed up after me. They also kept coming outside to see if I was still there. They ultimately stalled me and denied me service because I spoke up about the treatment I was recieving.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I took my car here for a titles transfer, tags, and registration and still don’t have my registration over a year later. I had to contact the DMV who told me the shop failed to submit a form with my required paperwork. Every time I tried to get in contact with the shop to get the form filled out they said the owner was not available. I eventually had to take my car elsewhere but I am out $600 for them to do NOTHING! Awful experience.

Always great service, I've been goingthere for years. The prices are reasonable and service is fast. The men are very knowledgeable about any car I've had over the years. Ask for Jerry when you go.
