Central Service & Repair

I was in Baltimore for a medical appointment. After my appointment I was headed home to Richmond VA. The water pump in my car overheated and I had to pull over immediately. Thankfully I was near Central Service. Jeff was amazing! He diagnosed the problem and helped me find a hotel to spend the night. He had my car ready before 8:30am the next morning. His mother, Kathy even lent me a phone charger. Thanks Jeff. You are extraordinary!!!

I had a state inspection done on my car on 8/14/2023 it didn’t pass at fist so I repair all the things they told me to repair. I thought that all the necessary repairs needed to pass where completed September 12 ,my right front ball joint broke when driving and said ball joint separating took out my cv shaft and cost me a tow bill , now I understand things go wrong on vehicles but in this time frame I imagine a worn ball joint would have would have been noticeable had it been properly inspected

I had an appointment at 8am and when I dropped my car off they told me they were finishing someone up and my car was next. I walked to get food and came back an hour and a half later and he told me there were 2 more cars in front of me now and it was going to be 2 more hours. Definitely would not recommend coming here. Very unprofessional and unorganized.

I never post reviews for anything really, but I felt obligated to post this one because they always go above and beyond. Living in Fells Point, Central Service & Repair has been our go-to local auto-mechanic for over 13 years. Len and his crew are super knowledgeable, honest, and incredibly customer focused - to the point where they’ll send us elsewhere if they don’t have the capability. They have helped us out in a pinch more times than we can count! Timely customer service, quality work, and all at a great price. Highly recommended. Many many thanks!
