Chapmans auto

I was told to take my first car to Rusty. He was kind and explained everything well. On my next car he replaced the power steering. The bill was higher then i expected and at 18 i was worried but he worked with me. He let me pay what i could on the promise i cam back on payday to pay the rest and he let me leave with my car. Not sure you could find anywhere else that would do that and since then ive told everyone to go here. The prices are fair, plus my wife loves to see the dog in the office.

Very helpful and communicated throughout the process of my crisis I had with my vehicle. I was referred by a friend and so glad I listened to the recommendation. Found out it was my A/C compressor that froze up and they was able to order part and get it installed quickly.

Edited to add: took it to another mechanic who clarified that there is nothing wrong with the head gasket. It just needed laser iridium plugs. Chapman removed new iridiums and replaced with platinums--a lower grade plug. Took a car in for misfiring and told the mechanic that I had already ruled out the ignition coils and spark plugs. He changed the spark plugs without getting authorization from me, charged me almost $200, and sent me on my way. When the problem wasn't fixed, I brought it back, and he miraculously discovered I had blown a head gasket, which would cost $1500 to fix. I took it somewhere else and they said not only had he used the wrong kind of plugs, one had a crack in it (likely from being dropped) and there was also a TON of dialectic grease smeared all over the tubes whic

This place is amazing. Professional and very personable. I took my 2009 Silverado in because something kept draining the battery. It is called a parasitic draw and from what I have read, VERY difficult to find where the problem is. They found my alternator had some problems and replaced it for a reasonable amount. Yet 2 days later, my battery was dead. I got it back to the shop where the mechanic began trouble shooting for the problem. It took 2 weeks of testing it, but they fixed it. I was overjoyed but so apprehensive of what it would cost. I got it back and the owner told me, “No charge. Merry Christmas.” !!!!!!! As a retired teacher with not huge amounts of cash on me, I was in shock and so HAPPY. I will recommend this place to all my friends. (And the owner’s dog is awesome.)

Good service. Nice folks. Honest and with integrity. They did an initial assessment without charging me a great deal for it, and they did a great job for a fair price in a timely manner. I will be going back and bringing my cars there in the future. Their dog is awesome as well! And I didn't have to wait threedays to get in. They got me in right away.
