I was excited to see the five star reviews here at Chariot when we originally started looking for a new vehicle. My experience however, was less than satisfactory. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the SUV we walked out with...BUT, the GM sold me a warranty policy, I did not want. I flat out said no and he stated it would only add $11 to my monthly payment, so he went ahead and added to the loan. Not to mention, they failed to put my husbands SS number in correctly, so his credit wasn't pulled to "cosign" for the vehicle. Leaving me with a higher interest rate. When told of this, they said "its joint credit, so it's the same". NO IT'S NOT. I ended up putting down 7k on my car and only 1k went towards the actual loan. Beware. Can’t even give not one star. I wish I would have read some of the reviews before even going here. They will try to take advantage of you with a lot of extra fees a 1,900 chariot protection plan that is not even an option not to have it on the car and then try to sell you a high warranty and if you don’t want it they get mad . A 9,000 dollar car they had it up to 14,900 with fees that did not even include the finance charge yet .. My son was gonna be in the hole before he could even get started .. they tried to take advantage of him because he was young and a first time buyer .Ive bought a lot of cars in my life several being from buttons and other places local and have never been treated the way I was at this place .
