Fixed a tire that went flat from a nail the trailer picked up. Friendly service, thank you!

My car started making funny noises on the drive from San Rafael out to Inverness around 9:30 PM. I dropped my car off outside of Cheda’s and left them a voicemail describing the noises that I was hearing. My dad also pointed out that the front left tire seemed low. In the morning Cheda’s checked in with me and let me know what was loose and needed reattaching. They also found a slow leak in the tire. The combined fee of $75 seemed very reasonable to me.

We are Inverness residents, and had a previous great experience with them replacing a battery that died unexpectedly. So when our daughter, who was using our 2007 Honda civic hybrid for a few days while we were out of state, told us that the power outlet in it needed to be fixed, we urged her to take it to Cheda's. She did on July 1st, 2023, explained the problem, and told them she needed it fixed that day. The older man said he'd check it out. There was no mention about a charge for that. She came back a half hour later, and paid a $60 bill. Then the cashier informed her that the problem had not been fixed, and to talk to the mechanic. He showed her how he used a simple mechanical tool to check that the part was indeed broken -- it took about 30 seconds -- and then noted they did not have

My tire pressure light came on while I was on my way to point Reyes. Stopped by Cheda without an appointment and they squeezed me in to make sure my tires were good. Put me at ease prior to driving out to the middle of no where!

Got a flat on my rental car when we hit a pothole while visiting the area. Friendly local helped me out and recommended I come here, the owner didn’t have the tire I needed but helped me locate a shop that did. Very friendly people! Thank you for your help.
