Had kingpins done on an antique auto left there with no brakes jacked the car up when I got home and the kingpins were loose!supposed to be tight!! Brought it back still loose and failed inspection at a different garage..end story ,I wouldn’t bring a bicycle there!! Beware

I recently bought a car here, and I am so, so glad that I did. They are super nice and helpful. After I bought the car, it needed a tiny bit of work, and they did it right away with no problems. If I lived a little closer, I would bring my car here for all its repairs. I definitely recommend this place, and in a couple years, I plan on buying here again. Five stars is not enough. I was super nervous about buying a car because I don't know much about them, and Chestnut Auto made the process easy and painless. I can not recommend this place enough.

Professional, Personable, Quality Service! This is the first time I've used this shop but I needed some work done on my SUV and other shops in town either couldn't get me in for over a week or was going to charge me my soul+ 1st born to get the work done! I called and they brought my vehicle in to diagnose it and the next day it was fixed and I got to keep my soul! 🙌 Thank you Chestnut Auto... this single mama could not afford to be without a vehicle!!!! 10/10 have found my new shop!

The people are cordial and this garage is fine for basic work like brakes, but they are unable to handle precision work (for example, engine set/head diagnosis/repair). They also do not stand behind their work. After two unsuccessful attempts at Chestnut St, and my car being in and out of the shop, I had to pay for the work to be done AGAIN elsewhere. My car has run great ever since, and hasn't been in the shop once.
