I just want to say thank you to Steve and his team. Great customer service. Our personal mechanic retired and we were referred to Chet's to fix our daughter's car. They were very friendly and honest. The prices were much more affordable, then I was expecting. They fixed our daughter's car in a very timely manner. Again a big thank you to Steve and his team. Huge shoutout to Steve and the team at Chet’s Auto Service. They treat you with real respect and take the time to clearly explain exactly what’s going on with your car before doing any work. I originally took my vehicle somewhere else and the quote was nearly double what I was charged here. Honest pricing, great communication, and quality work — there’s definitely something to be said about good hometown auto repair service. I highly recommend them!

I had my truck towed in after it broke down and Chet’s was able to get me in right away and look into the problem quickly. It wasn’t what I considered an easy fix but Chet’s was able to get the truck back in a couple days and running great. Nick was great with communicating the estimate and following up with anything else as it was necessary. They’re at the top of my list for repairs in Pataskala.

TLDR: Respectful 5/5, Pricing 5/5, Communication 5/5, Time to Completion 5/5. If you are hesitant about shops like I am, I recommend you give Chet's a shot. I have only taken my vehicle to a shop 1 other time at a Chevy dealership, and it was awful, but Chet's was a breath of fresh air. It has been a little over a month since I took my truck here for a catalytic converter replacement, I procrastinated a bit too hard, and the pricing was fair, communication with work and small delays were very transparent. There were no surprise costs or undesired repairs, and from what I seen while picking up my truck, they treat their customers like people and not the next cash cow to milk.

Nick provided very clear communication from vehicle drop off, cost estimate, updates provided as work was being completed, and when my vehicle was ready for pickup. All work appears professional and a 24 month guarantee was provided on all work performed. I will never take my Audi to another shop due to their excellent service and job well done!
