Chevrolet Service

I got an oil change. A rotate of tires also got a bid for new tires, very friendly agent Christian and my experience was quick and fast. It was about an hour or so and but everything was done and looks great and I was very pleased.

Inspections saves lives……. So grateful for the service provided by Heartland Chevrolet’s Service Center. Brought my son’s car in for an oil change and to have a tire pressure sensor replaced. Had no clue we might have had a safety issue lurking. During the complementary car inspection with the oil change the technician discovered a broken/missing bolt from the rear brake caliper (see picture). We would have not know about this until it was too late. I can’t express how thankful that the technician took the inspection process seriously. As a result of their care, they resolved a safety issue that saved us from potential disaster. I visited Heartland Chevrolet to get my oil changed and I asked the Service Advisor to take a look at my left headlight. I had replaced the bulb with a new one, yet is was not working. When my vehicle was done, I was given a bill for $100 (the oil change was on a plan) and told that the bulb simply was not plugged all the way in. I was charged $100 for a Technician to reach up through my left-front fender and push the wiring harness all the way onto the bulb. $100! I understand the “book rate,” but unless the bulb was changed according to GM instructions (the front bumper/facia was not even closed to being removed), a charge of $100 is excessive.

Everything was fine. The only thing was I usually get a video from the person doing the oil change showing me everything being checked out and I did not get one this time. I like the video cause it shows me that they are actually checking it and not just saying they are on paper.

As always staff were friendly, attentive, and informative. Service was timely.
