Chris's German Auto Service

Chris’ German is an excellent, reliable shop that does high quality work on Porsche. I had a need for replacement seals due to a slow leak on my PDK. They did a good job and it cost far less than the dreaded PDK replacement that Porsche dealers recommend for my issue. Update: After a track event there was an issue with blue smoke at acceleration. Chris’ German diagnosed it and found the ring seal at the transmission cover plate was failing. This is rare, but can happen. While the wait for the part from Germany was long they did an expert job in getting it repaired, tested, and out the door. This is the kind of repair that the dealer would say, “you need an entire new transmission-$20K please. I paid a fraction of that at Chris German.

Alex Levinta is my service advisor and just fantastic. He has helped me promptly with short notice on two different occasions now. He is enthusiastic about his job and about the Porsche brand in particular. I reached out recently in desperation a day before a long car trip with a check engine light. I was concerned the car might not be safe to take on the trip. Alex got me in immediately for a scan and we determined the best next course of action. This helped me immensely. Their customer service is absolutely incredible—professional, honest, and genuinely focused on making sure everything is done right. Alex and his team at Chris’s took excellent care of my Mrs Peppers (2013 Porsche Cayenne). Very communicative and always transparent with costs and timelines. They did a thorough and complete inspection to assist in deciding on a course of action, while moving forward quickly on the immediate coolant issues I came in for. Brought my 2008 911 Turbo to Chris's for the first time since I acquired the car in September for an oil change and an inspection. Alex and his team did a great job in timely manner. The inspection was very detailed and I spent almost an hour going over all the issues with Alex and he gave a lot of honest and practical fix proposals to get the car to the perfect state.
