I've been using CJ Auto for the past year for state inspections. Always a quick and easy in / out. I appreciate their focus on customer service. They stay busy so make sure you call ahead to make your appointment. Very happy with the services they provide.

We went in for an inspection, he said we needed front tie rods ( we had one replaced last year). After doing the job we approved and paid over $400 for with a card, he passed the vehicle for inspection. Taking the vehicle to another shop for alignment we find one tie rods in front replaced and another in the rear. Vehicle too loose to align ( which should come with tie rod job). We took it back with a list of stuff that should have been done. Asked for the front tie rods to be tightened so it can be aligned. He had vehicle most of the day and when done he had a bill for over $600 and refused to take a card, only cash and kept the vehicle for 5 days while we scrambled to get $ together. We reported this to the state.

I brought my new-to-me diesel here for someone more knowledgeable to pick through and ensure my truck was fine as I was moving livestock 1500 miles and wanted the truck to be safe to do so. I had CJ replace the ICP wiring housing and do a visual (which he did not specify until after I tried to get this charge refunded) used car inspection to find out what needed to be repaired. He found 2 things: a radiator leak and engine oil leak on the HPOP. He missed several things: leaking driveline that needed to be replaced, entire front end was lose (that he claimed was tight), that needed to be replaced, brake lines so completely twisted they were not functional, a broken emergency brake cable (this was all found on a VISUAL inspection after going in for an alignment, UP lines leaking, backing pla

Took my truck in to get the heater core fixed, Curtis was very friendly and informative about what he was going to do and the cost was lower than his estimate, would highly recommend if you need an honest mechanic!
