My dad who owns a body shop asked me to go get a part that he bought from there and I did and I inspected it the best I could and thought it looked ok. When I got the part home my dad who can inspect parts better than me looked at it and saw that the underside of the hood was all caved in so he called not even 2 hours after I got the part asking for a return so I drove back up there Monday and was greeted by a bitchy old lady who said we probably aren’t going to take it back and she got the manger who is also very bitchy and he said he’s not taking it back because I should’ve inspected it (I’m a 17 year old kid in highschool not a body tech) keep in mind the part online said A condition with minor chips which is a very good rating. Really disappointed, the part was fine, but the communication was not there. The part that I got had a different connector than the part that I needed. When I asked about the return or exchange policy (before leaving the property), I was told that I need to examine the product before paying. The problem is that they would not remove the part without me paying first, and customers are not allowed to go back and look at the parts before they are removed. Therefore, I must pay before I can see it, and yet it's my responsibility to check the product before paying. I had an appointment (between 2-3pm) and a two hour drive one way. I was 10 minutes late, and the car I was scheduled to look at was driving off the lot sold as I pulled in. I saw other reviews about this, and apparently, the people get a kick out of selling vehicles from underneath you. The lady smiled when I asked if that was the car I was scheduled to see.
