Cleveland Ave. Emissions

I've been going here for a while as well. The owner use to manage the property well however his new employee not so much. This was my second day trying to get an emission. On Thursday at 5:30pm the worker stated the system was down and I can go to another place. I decided to come back Friday. I arrived at 5:15pm waiting in line. I let him know I was here yesterday and it is still 5:30pm. He stated he knows and refused to take me. This is not good business on his part. I admire the owner but his employee is doing bad business.

When I arrived the line was fairly long, but moved at a reasonable speed. It only took a few minutes for each vehicle to get their inspection. Well worth the wait for the price.

This place is a joke. Went yesterday and the internet was down apparently. Today I go back at 11:30 and they are “closing early”. If you are an establishment that says you operate till 6, “shutting down a little early” (6:30 hours) is a joke. Especially considering you couldn’t service customers the day before. I couldn’t get my tag from the kiosk at Kroger. So, some man standing in line told me I needed an emission test. I told him I had a new car. He still stated I needed an emission test even asked me where I was from and I told him Atlanta. He said, “Well, you should know that.” As he walked away happily with his tag and shaking his head like I was an asinine woman. Well, I thought maybe the rules had changed. I went to Cleveland Ave. Emissions and the Caucasian gentleman told me that I was right. You only need an emission test if your car is at least 3 years old. I knew I was right! All the cars I’ve had, I’ve never taken a new car for an emission test. Emission test is about pollutants and a new car should not be releasing an illegal amount in the air. TRUST YOURSELF!! Horrible customer service. Employee shut the door and refused to test my car and they weren’t closed. No explanation just shook his head and closed the door. At least communicate with your customers. Total lack of professionalism.
