Colonial Country Club 55+ Golf Community

My friend lives here and if i didn’t have a 17 yr old at home I’d be moving into a new home. They have great activities for everyone and the community is so inviting. This community is very active and makes for a fun place to live. I always feel safe, even on our night walks around the park.

Seems to be ok so far except for 3 days after close and getting the keys, I had dealt to have club car ds into purchase and it was stolen on Jan 9. Now we hadn’t moved in yet and for sale sign still up front so seemed to be easy target. No witnesses police report was filled and insurance was paid so in the end all worked out. I’m good with protecting my own but we hadn’t moved in yet. Side note the personal at CCC have all been super professional and nice. Look forward to utilizing pool, pickleball, workout room, golf coarse once I get new golf art🙂

Food was okay, chicken was a little tough. The music was too loud, and way too young for the crowd it was played for. The DJ was unaware of his audience! The average age of the room was about 72 to 85. Not one person in the room was totally deaf. Perhaps if this DJ plays again at this volume we will be deaf. It was a nice thought to have a dinner dance for Valentines day.

LARGE CLUBHOUSE w/ PLENTY OF EVENT SPACE! I’ve come several times to this clubhouse for get-togethers, parties and send-offs. Colonial’s clubhouse has a huge dining room, dance floor, and kitchen space. I recently went for a friend’s Going-Away party and there was lots of room in the kitchen for food. The party was potluck-style so we grubbed! The dining room has plenty of large circular tables that could fit at least eight people per table. Chairs were standard plastic, but not totally uncomfortable. Unfortunately, guests can’t access the lobby area anymore. However, there’s an outdoor patio if you need a breather. There’s restrooms in the back of the building, so you have to go outside to access them. You have to go out the clubhouse’s back doors and make a right towards the pool, you’
