Hi there, I bought a 2005 Chevrolet corvette from cooks car company a little over a week ago and I just wanted to share some of my bad experiences with this used car dealer for future buyers. Everything was okay until I started to drive the car 6 hrs back home. During this entire drive I could smell oil burning off the exhaust, which the used car dealer stated was “residual” from the oil leaks they just fixed and that the car was good to go. Wow, were they wrong. I have now verified that this car has a major oil leak that leaves a mess on my driveway and makes me not want to drive the car. I also posted pictures as evidence and I’ve had to buy a quart of oil to top it off. So it’s definitely not “residual” like they will continue to say. I waited a few days to leave a review so I could calm down… I’m absolutely in love with my new to me car! I got a 2019 Cooper Mini Countryman and I absolutely love it. It was well priced, clean and I was allowed to take it on a test drive by myself. I literally called my bank on the test drive cause I fell in love. I didn’t feel forced into buying this vehicle I was given all the proper paperwork my bank would need and I was able to drive my Mini home the same day. Recently both of my sons bought their first cars through Cooks and both were very happy with the whole process and the cars. My first son bought a used BMW that had an oil leak. Which he was told about upfront and they already had a part ordered to repair it. While driving the car until the appointment he found another oil leak which Cooks repaired during his appointment for the first leak at no additional cost. He hasn't had any trouble with the car since and really enjoys it. When my other son started looking for his first car his brother recommended Cooks and he was able to find a nice little Jetta. I've bought multiple vehicles from Cooks and they've been the most upfront and honest dealer I've dealt with. Never break the bank and willing to take no for an answer if it's not right for me. Highly recommend for affordability and all the vehicles I've bought are still on the road today years later. Newest addition is of the 2 wheel variety, classic car will probably be in the future.
