Cool Wave Car Wash

DO NOT GO HERE! Smithfield, va. Should give no stars. Came in from out of town, thought I would wash my car. I put in $10.00 to get change back. Mind you the machine did not day out of order. As soon as it took my 10 bucks it said out of order! I called to see if they could give me back my 10 dollars. NOPE. NOTHING. gave me a code for a free wash, now mind you I am FROM OUT OF TOWN! only good for 30 days. This place is going to be reported to BBB. YALL NEED TO LEARN BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY AS SOMEONE WAS FROM OUT OF TOWN. DO NOT GO HERE! CAR WASH WAS BRONEN ALSO!

Tire cleaner wasn't working. People were there working on the drive thru advised the lady who said give it a second. Showed her it had been almost a minute. Nothing. No sorry. No let me grab a couple quarters. Nothing. Never going back. Had to throw in another 5 to rinse it then the spot free rinse did this. ( see pic )

None of the machines card readers work. None of the machines dollar bill acceptors will take cash money. Cannot wash a car here.

Overall: Mid tier self service car wash at best. You're probably better off cleaning your car at home. Details: Needed to vacuum out my interior and decided to give this place a try. Vacuums only take change and $1 gets you roughly 3 minutes of air. (I did a couple extra sessions and timed it...more like 2.5 minutes per $1 which is a bit overpriced.) The vacuums themselves didn't provide a lot of suction which was the biggest problem. And the blue plastic tips left the occasional blue mark on my black upholstery. Didn't even try to do a wash since a couple beside me did it and I heard them complaining the whole time. Apparently the water pressure isn't great and didn't even get the grime off their car.
