Costco Tire Service Center

Streamlined process all the way through. Got a better overall deal compared to other sellers. Not sure I will drive all the way here in case of a flat though. Ordered on Jan 3, delivered on Jan 10 at Dedham, booked appointment for Jan 14 - total wait of 10 days. It took 1.5ish hours for install - felt long but at least Costco is right there for killing time. Went on Wednesday evening at 430pm. You need Costco membership to buy tires. Free installation. You have to park next to tire center (look for signs) and then go to the tire desk to drop off the keys - it’s on the left inside the Costco entrance.

I had a pretty disappointing experience at the Costco Tire Center. I bought four new tires online and was alerted that they had an appointment for the following day. My appointment was at 2:30 pm. I arrived around 2:20 pm to drop off my car and was told the service would take about 1.5 hours. When I returned 2 hours after my original appointment time, I was then told it would take at least another hour. The original time estimate was not accurate, and in total it ended up being close to 3.5 hours before I got my car back. It would have been helpful to have a more accurate estimate ahead of time. If appointments are running this far behind, they should consider scheduling fewer cars or being upfront about realistic wait times. For a scheduled appointment, this was a big waste of time.

Ordered 4 tires online from Costco and brought the car here for installation. A week or two later, I notice the steering in my car feels loose and I constantly have to make little adjustments to keep the car going straight. Took the car into dealership for diagnosis. Was told Costco screwed up the alignment on my wheels and that was the cause of the problems with the steering. They redid the alignment at $140 and the problem was fixed. I will NEVER take my car into Costco for tires or any other auto related work. They have no idea what they are doing. I thought I was saving a few bucks by buying tires from Costco but it ended up costing more than getting it done right at a dealer or legitimate tire shop.

Not very helpful, specially in an emergency puncture repair. And no the puncture it not too big, and its not out of the repairable area (not on the tire shoulders), the puncture was in the center of the tire, and indeed repairable, I am a master mechanic myself, and repaired it successfully soon as I got to the shop. They are simply not interested in doing the work from the moment I walked in "without booking a prior appointment". They were adamant on selling me a tire set though, they have all the time for that. I am sorry, I will plan my life better next time, and only run over nails in an organized fashion, so I don't throw your schedule off at the tire shop. In all seriousness, the prices are not that good, so with lack of initiative and helpfulness, there is no reason to shop here

Worked with Eduardo and Davis, who did an incredible job when I arrived right before closing with a tire emergency. They were super helpful and quick, and the price was much lower than I expected! Just wanted to shout them out for being awesome!
