Costco Tire Service Center

I had a 1045 appointment. And they wouldn’t start on my tires because I couldn’t figure out how much to torque the wheels at. Then they decided to measure my rims to see if it was acceptable for them to do it. I’m sure this is just a Costco requirement and not the employees but come on. I didn’t get out of there until 2 o’clock. They did a good job. But over three hours to change four tires is ridiculous.

Bought a new tire and was told we could just buy the one tire not a full set. They measured all the treads and the back two tires treds were at 7/10. The front driver was at 5/10, front passenger had a spare. Costco expressly stated they would replace the spare only, but barely in good conscious. We were very aware all tires needed replaced, but we're not in a spot to pay for full set. When the tire was replaced, it was put on one of the back 7/10 tred, and the spare was left on, the tire that needed replaced originally. Costco did not even attempt to replace the spare, as requested, and as was communicated to me. They talked down to my wife, and seemingly tried to manipulate a full set purchase. Took our business to commercial tire instead where she was treated with respect, tire prices

Costco Tire Shop is the best. Took advantage on one of their continuous sales…this time it was for Bridgestone snow tires in early December. Website said tires would be available in 5-10 days and installation was 2 weeks out… and snow was on the way. On a whim I stopped by and found the tires in stock and was told they could squeeze me in. Left the car and got a call 3 hours later. Costco here in Idaho has a snow tire package…$50 to swap out winter tires for original tires and rebalance in spring. Each tire was placed in a nice big plastic bag. Nice touch Costco. Bridgestone Blizzaks for $150 a tire was best price around by far!

A convenient location located on chinden and ten mile road. A reserved parking for tire center customers. self-service for free tire inflation.

Only giving them a 1 star because they never answer the phone. My husband tried calling several times last month for new tires and they never answered, and every time he was forward to them it just hung up after 3p seconds. I just called and went through the cycle 5 times because I also need tires. I'd appreciate if someone could answer the phone, or if they could have staff just ask least make appointments.
