Costco Tire Service Center

This is a mixed bag and probably has a management and culture problem, that has drifted away from the members first values that Costco is famous for. Prices are still excellent, but service needs work. I scheduled and appointment, showed up, and they said I didn’t have one. And then the guy just kinda stared at me like he didn’t want to help me at all. I told him I was scheduled, and he just said he couldn’t find the appointment. Finally, he looked at the order receipt I had thankfully brought with me, and said “oh, yeah, you do have an appointment, but it was in the wrong system”, but then still looked at me like I was the nuisance, and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake or try to fix it until I insisted. This morning, an object on the freeway completely popped one of my tires. Luis and his coworkers scheduled a walk-in appointment for this afternoon and quickly replaced my tires. I would like to highlight Luis’ competency, professionalism, and excellent customer service during this stressful situation. My family also deeply appreciates the affordability of the tire replacement service as a local competitor quoted me double Costco’s total amount. Thank you!

Last night I was driving in the snow at the end of the day with both my kids in the car when I got a flat tire. No tire shops were open, I was able to pull up to the costco tire shop, and asked a very nice young man if he could check my tire, and sure enough I had a huge staple on my tire. It was an hour before closing and they were booked up and really busy. He said they could probably just help me put the spare on since it was late. I was very pleasantly surprised when they gave me my keys and told me they just went ahead and fixed the tire for me. I just wanted them to know how much I appreciate them having gone above and beyond for me.

The manager of this tire center should be put to pasture. For years, they have constantly overbooked their appointments and it takes 2-3 hours past the scheduled time. Every. Single. Time. It’s so bad I will probably not buy tires from Costco anymore. No point in the “free services” if you have to wait for half a damn day

Waited 2hrs to get a tire checked for a leak even with an appointment. Tech calls after 1hr30min saying they cant find a leak and that there isn't a leak (yeah....okay...the tires just deflate for no reason I guess) instead the tech says the tire monitoring system on one of the tires is broken and could be the problem. It was broke, but that wasn't what he was looking for or the tire he was supposed to be checking for leaks. I decided to get the sensor fixed and they charged $65 for the sensor and install. I looked online and found a 4 pack of those sensors for $30-40. While I don't have the equipment to do the work myself that's a steep markup for a single sensor. I can't justify coming back to this shop due to the waste of time. Also bought tire online and had the tires installed here an
