Costless Car Rental (North Hollywood)

I only gave one star so that I could comment. This place deserves a zero stars. Worst customer relations, terrible communication. It’s a scam. This business is under several names with many different phone numbers that nobody ever answers. If you do get a call back, this guy Jacob will promise you the moon and the stars. Then you hear nothing back so you don’t even know if the car that you reserved is actually available. Just shady and unreliable.

Very oily man. Did not pick up phone entire day despite multiple calls. When I showed up he tried to pressure me into buying unnecessary insurance even though I have top coverage with USAA. He wouldn’t let me see contract and tried to hide fees. His website was far cheaper than what he was quoting. He had stacks of random papers in his office, a pen with no ink and he wrote all his payments out with illegible script. When I asked to see it calculated with tax via a system he hedged. Although his website stated that there were cars available this turned out to be false: a car wouldn’t be delivered for another two or three hours, maybe. This place needs a good tax audit. Very sus.

This was listed as Priceless Car Rental on Expedia when I got picked up- never knowing this place was not in the actual airport- in a dated SUV it was listed as Dicount car rental. NO person visiting should rent from here. It is a lot of suvs 2000-2008. My Ford suv which I did not request had 223, 400 miles with check engine and airbag lights on. He also made me pay insurance on this car stating I needed a hard copy of my insurance card it was law. 🙄It was empty on my arrival so I spent $82 for a fillup.😤The owner very nice and you could tell he meant well but this should be for local people only. It was embarrassing to pull up in valet in Hollywood and Beverly Hills in this big old thing.

Very good experience . I needed to rent a car for a week and was on a budget. Jacob helped me out and dropped off and picked up a Nissan Sentra to my house . Easy no hassle service with reasonable rates. Car was clean , AC was cold and I got about 30 mpg. Would definitely use again 👍

I just came back from an LA trip that was made so much better because I was able to rent from here. The car was very good with working A/C, clean, pretty decent mileage and range, and amazing price. Best of all was interacting with the owner and getting excellent customer service, including a ride back to the Burbank Airport from his staff. Will definitely be back. Without question, I've found my car rental place for LA. Wish I had found this sooner.
