He took the time to walk me through all of my options, explained the pros and cons of each one, and never once pressured me into a decision. What really stood out was his honesty. He gave me a list of other items to keep an eye on, but didn’t push unnecessary work or try to upsell me. That kind of transparency is rare, especially with major repairs like a transmission. My son lives in Louisville and I live 500 miles away in Virginia. When he visited us, I noticed that the transmission pan was leaking at the gasket. I bought a truck from a guy that had the transmission replaced at this location a year and a half ago then moved to Georgia, verified the warranty would transfer so i purchased the truck. I noticed after a few hundred miles a pretty good leak. So i called the shop explained my situation and that i reside in georgia 6 hours away. I was told to take the truck to an ammco shop since they are a sister company. I did, the ammco shop did the work and Cottman stood behind their warranty....i would definitley recomend this shop to anyone.

If you can’t do a service just say that! With that being said took my daughters car to get a transmission fixed when all along They couldn’t fix it.. gave us the run around now it’s been weeks to months without her car and money has been paid! Very bad experience with Cottoman! Highly pissed!

5 stars is nowhere near close enough to the rating I would give if I could go higher! I was out of town and Cottman diagnosed and repaired my car in record time! Stephen Matthews took care of me as if I was the only customer they had! And they were slammed! Let me put it this way: I live 3 hours away but would legitimately consider driving my car for those 3 hours just to have them service my car again! They were that good, efficient, honest and trustworthy! Very happy customer!
