Mr Couch is a wealth of knowledge. Not only did he get my F-150s transmission problems diagnosed and repaired (faulty tail shaft speed sensor). The man will not withhold any information at all. There’s nothing this man can’t figure out. Been using him for years and will continue. Highly recommend!

Finding a consummate professional in the race engine world who understands and lives by the basic fundamentals of performance is quickly becoming a rarity in modern society. Jon Couch can slap any set of performance engines together, but more importantly, he can methodically walk you through every aspect of the engine, and why or why not it is the best fit for the application. Engine Assemblers don't win championships, Engine Builders do; and no one in Texas is more qualified then Jon. Highly Recommend

Couch is a highly skilled and trustworthy mechanic. He can do anything from machining the best cylinder heads to fixing death traps. He's the dad you go to whenever you have a car issue, whether it's a misfire or taking off old stubborn bumper stickers. Want to build a race car or make your car go vroom vroom? He's the man. He'll teach you a lot if you ask - or don't, he'll make sure to go into detail about what needs to be done, what can temporarily be done, what he will do, and how he will do it. There's nothing he can't do.

Anything you need done he can do it! Very knowledgeable and polite. My car was wrecked in the front and I bought it to him to repair a few things on the engine because I thought my car was going to blow up it had a bad smell coming through the vents and it was smoking. Turns out the smell was just a dead cat behind the motor and the smoking was from a hose that had exploded. I don’t know anything about cars and going to him was my best decision he’s very trustworthy and reasonable with prices.. no job is too big or too small and I will be returning. I’d like to get my oil changed! Btw he is one of the few world class technicians left in the world!

I took my Duramax heads to get resurfaced. Also, he repaired a damaged valve guide and installed a new valve. Very honest guy and will be coming back for more work in the future.
