Family holiday vacation was coming up and Arturo took care of it with great attention to detail. After getting both the front and back brakes checked he requested that I go buy the parts needed and came back to get it installed. Great attitude, customer service and affordable pricing. Before that day and up to that point, every time that I would have to slow down and get ready to stop, my brakes would be squeaking. When I came to Cougars Auto Repair,they had me come up and stop a few times. After the mechanic had me do it one more time, he automatically knew what it the problem was. He said it was my front brakes. So after finding out what make and model of my vehicle, and year,he told me about a certain type of brakes to get and the place to get it from, which was AutoZone. So after I did a quick errand,I went to AutoZone to buy the recommended type that the mechanic told me about, and then came back to Cougars. Be aware that the shop looks very rudimentary. It is open to the street when in operation. It is definitely in an industrial area. I found that they were thorough, gave good, prompt service, had excellent equipment, and were very thorough in aligning the front end on the Toyota Prius I brought to them. I don't usually take cars to shops that also sell tires, because if they can find any reason to sell some, they will. This shop does not sell tires. They still appropriately pointed out a problem with one tire and suggested that I take it to a tire shop for a new tire because the rubber had cracks in it. There are no loaner cars, or amenities that you would have at a dealer, but the price is much lower, and I'm cheap, and the price made it worthwhile. There are chairs along one side of t
