I was the General Mechanic for a fairly large Lawn and Landscape business nearby this place. OF COURSE I ran into problems I just could not handle myself. Air Conditioning, gnarly diagnostic problems and sometimes stuff I just could not handle without without a subscription to a $$$ automotive manuals service or the ability to lift vehicle high in the air. Man I wish I could give them SIX STARS. They were generous with self-help info, always got the stuff done ASAP and "right the first time". I'm no slouch - but I never caught them lying about ANYthing and that is My Highest praise. I have recommended them to a dozen people over the years and they got the same service. Take your vehicle to them with confidence you will be treated as well as possible. That's all.

First time going to Tarwater's. Took my '86 Mazda truck here for a check up before gambling on a three week, 3200 mile trip. While I know predicting whether an old car's gonna make it can't be a guarantee, they made some recommendations and said it looked good overall. Just parked back in KCMO with zero issues. I’ve never felt better and more confident taking my car anywhere. They are honest & won’t tell you you need any extra stuff done. Their prices are fair and they have made me feel so much better about my aging car. Sometimes as a teacher I wish they were open on the weekends—but honestly good for them!!!! I am so happy to fit it into my schedule during the week for the quality & honestly I get here. I only wish I’d found them years ago! I’ll never go anywhere else 😊
