My father was moved to Covenant Living Skilled Nursing in December after a fall and discharge from the hospital. I was very clear to ask about his secondary insurance covering what Medicare did not. It was the PRIMARY concern after being assured he would be well cared for. All of this happened so fast - I asked repeatedly to be sure he would not incur out of pocket charges. There was another skilled nursing facility we were considering, but chose Covenant because we actually thought it would be better. Within 24 hours, we were told he would be kicked out (Christmas Eve) if we did not provide 24/7 private pay aides to sit with him as he was trying to get out of bed. He was frantic, disoriented, delusional after being in the hospital for two weeks and in severe pain from multiple fractures

Why are you only allowing positive reviews for this place! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS FACILITY This was the WORST EXPERIENCE of my life! My mother was in the skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation after a stroke & NEVER came home….SHE DIED IN THIS PLACE! The caregivers are more interested in socializing than caring for their sick patients! NOT ONCE was I ever able to speak with a doctor to find out about my mothers’ condition, how the rehabilitation-progress was going, what medications she was receiving, her care, feeding, etc. I was contacted by a nurse ONLY to notify me of her passing away! PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!! You may never see them again!

This retirement community is great. My grandma lives there and she receives superb care. I had multiple conversations with the Executive Direction Brad Bodie and found him to be very caring and understanding to my grandmother's needs. If you're looking for a 5 star quality retirement community for your loved ones, you should definitely consider Covenant Living of Florida. The community here is super friendly and accepting, my grandma had no troubles finding friends almost immediately.

This is a beautiful place! My grandparents have lived here for 7+ years and it has been wonderful. There are activities everyday, a couple of pools, libraries and more. I've met several of their friends and residents over the years and everyone has been lovely. The staff at convenient village are friendly and helpful. The food is amazing! It's a weekly spot I get to spend time with my grandparents and have a great time. My grandfather whose wife recently past, is also moving here too to be closer to us, and also because of the active community, friendly staff, and beautiful facility.Highly recommend this community. (There is also a rehab facility on site and doctors office too (although I do not know if it's open to all or based upon insurance for visitian etc.) but it's good to know it is

My parents have been living independently at CVoF for 10 years and they are very happy there. My father-in-law is moving in this month. It is a continuing care community allowing residents the ability to move from independent living, to assisted living and/or nursing care, if needed. I am most familiar with the independent living and the facilities are well maintained. There are a lot of activities for residents if they choose to participate. There are two dining options, the bistro (cafeteria style) and formal dining (restaurant) style. The food is very good; if you don't like the two main menu options in the Bistro, you have the option to order something from the grill.
