I recently brought my GMC Sierra 1500 in to have the leaf springs replaced at Covert Buick GMC of Austin, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. Service Advisor Colton Cooper, Service Manager Alex Brickel, and Shop Foreman Ben Sibley were outstanding from start to finish. Their communication was exceptional! They kept me informed throughout the entire process and provided consistent updates, which I truly appreciated. Not only was the work completed quickly (I had my truck back within a day), but the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled professionally and efficiently. 4 stars due to my appointment not showing up on their system even tho I got 3 confirmation emails and I called to confirm it a week before I had the appointment. The service center is easy to find when you get into the dealership. They have big signs to tell you where to go which is so nice when you’ve never been there. When I pulled up, I was greeted very friendly and they went to get the person who was in charge of my appointment. When I met Mark, he stated that there was no appointment for me but I assured him that I had emails and I called to confirm it. He was still very friendly and still checked me in. The worst service in my life. I've been trying to get a new car with a warranty fixed for three months. They tell me the part is finally arriving. I drive 49 minutes to the dealership. A week goes by, I call to see when it will be ready, and no one answers. I drive another 49 minutes to the dealership to find out why they didn't give me a loaner so I wouldn't be without a car. Now they tell me they won't have the part until the end of March. I spent a week without a car for nothing. No one notifies me about the delay. The worst advisor ever.
