Cowan Tire & Auto Service

Hunt, Mark and Piper are great guys that will work with you. This business has a kind and knowledgeable team that knows how to take care of their customers. My partner and I have been going to Cowan's since we moved to the area a year ago, and have both of our vehicles serviced here.

I was far from home, heading to work in another state when I started losing tire pressure. I remembered seeing a tire shop some miles back. When I arrived I could see that Cowan Tire was slammed. I was able to speak to the manager and explain my problems and he was able to fit me in very quickly. The service was excellent, the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Being stranded as I was, they could have hit me hard on the fee but instead it was about half what I expected. I would highly recommend them and would gladly do business with them if I lived in the area.

New to town & in crisis mode I called my realtor for a referral of an auto mechanic. What a Godsend THAT was. Cowan came to my rescue in record time and I couldn’t be more grateful!!! The gentleman at the front desk jumped up to help with diagnostics and was very professional. At the end of this rescue I learn that they can work on my RR & don’t have to drive to Asheville to the dealership for service❤️ You guys won me over! So happy you’re in Rutherfordton & grateful to my realtor Lola Barnes for steering me in the right direction! I owe SOMEBODY dinner! Thank you to all of you!

Everyone was so welcoming and kind. As a female this was refreshing. I never felt like I was being talked down to. As a jeep girl also loved that there were jeep owners in the group. Great people.
