Creekside On Bardstown

Creekside at Bardstown Road has truly become a second home for our family. From the moment my father-in-law arrived, we felt an overwhelming sense of warmth, compassion, and genuine care. This is not just an assisted living community — it’s a family. The caregivers are an incredible gift. They treat every resident with dignity, kindness, and respect, and it’s clear they truly love what they do. My father-in-law is cared for as if he were their own family member, and that peace of mind is priceless. The staff consistently goes above and beyond, taking the time to build real relationships and make each resident feel seen, valued, and safe. First I'm going to address the one star rating. My mom has been in this facility since January 10 and I have NEVER seen or heard of any staff member that is mean and abusive. The staff members will go and sit in my mom's room in times of need to calm her down and reassure her she is ok. I go everyday to visit my mom and other family members go and visit too and none of us have observed the negative behaviors you are complaining about. I have also NEVER seen feces on beds and beds without sheets. These women work very hard to make sure all residents are clean and their rooms are cleaned. I really have to wonder if you were at creekside on Bardstown because your complaints are out and out lies.

Dementia/memory care wing is a border line care. Missing sheets on beds, feces on mattresses, dirty floors, rude and abusive staff, no one addresses any concerns or complaints. I will not even leave my dog to be cared by this establishment.

They have been taking wonderful care of both of my parents for almost two years now. The facility is clean new and wonderful but that pales compared to the love, compassion and care exemplified by the entire staff. it is a wonderful community and they are truly family and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone that is looking for the best in care for their loved one.

Finding the right place for my mom I thought was going to be a challenge but I visited Creekside three different times two in which I just popped in and was welcomed each and every time as if I had an appointment. Monica and Ashley are simply amazing. Their heart is huge and I could tell that they genuinely love the residence. I felt like family every time I walked through the door the setting is like home and not a facility and that’s what I liked about it. It’s very clean the food looked appetizing, very warm environment, all of the residents look happy and there was no smell or older. That was impressive. I also checked out all the reviews on Google. They were all great. Mom will be moving in on Monday. I am so nervous yet excited because I feel like she will thrive here. I will definit
