He's a Fireman that's been volunteering for his community for over 25 years and is the only place I trust my vehicle. Support local.

I highly recommend Critical Car Care! After a week’s stay in Michigan, as I was preparing to leave for home in Illinois on a Friday afternoon, my car wouldn’t start and I discovered that a critter had chewed multiple wires. I had my car towed to Critical Car Care. Chris stayed late Friday to work on it and came in on Saturday and Sunday to work on it since he knew I was trying to get home. He kept finding and repairing more damaged wires. He got it mostly fixed but since it’s a VW, it ultimately had to go to a foreign car shop for the diagnostic to find the final damaged spot. He recommended a towing service and a foreign car specialist. Chris worked with my insurance claims rep and communicated with me frequently to let me know the status. Our car broke down on the way from Iowa to Canada and Chris was the only mechanic that was available and willing to take a look at the problem. We had a broken belt and after getting the part and repairing the car for us, we were back on the road in time to make the rest of our trip. Chris was also kind and affordable. Thank you!
