Crosstown Square Senior Living

My dad moved into Crosstown Square a month ago. He is very happy here. After living in his own home for so many years, I expected him to have “adjustment issues” for a least a few months, but he has had none. He likes the food, loves the staff, and is making some new friends. The staff has been so easy to work with! He wishes he had made this decision sooner!!

Lanette, Bernadette, and the entire team are very dedicated to the residents at Crosstown Square. They keep family members informed of any odd Behavior or possible trouble their residents may be having. They also help to make family members feel welcome anytime. They also have wonderful parties around the holidays and special events welcoming family members. I do not know how my father would have ever survived at any other place. My mother lived independently for 95 years. Gradually, it became evident she could no longer manage her day to day activities. A family friend suggested Crosstown Square in Silvis. We scheduled an informational visit with the director, Lanette Paper. Upon entering Crosstown Square, the “homelike” feeling was welcoming, and friendly. Crosstown Square has been an exceptional facility for my mother that is in her 80’s.. She moved in over a year ago and has had a great experience there. She has made friends, enjoys her apartment, and the staff is very caring and engaging. Plus the benefit of them having a few guest rooms to rent when we come to visit makes it easier than ever to spend time with my mother. The facility is well maintained, she enjoys the meal service and the daily conversations with her dining room table mates. The planned social activities keep my mother busy and engaged in activities with her neighbors. It’s coming to my mom’s first full year at crosstown. Can be hard to catch her in her room. She’s out walking on the outside path with beautiful oak trees were taken part in all activities. knowing she has so many friendly people around her comforts me when I’m not there. We also enjoy having lunch or dinner together. Food is very delicious and a wide variety. It’s a relaxing atmosphere, Home.
