Crown City Tire Auto Care

I got a flat on the way to school and I came over to Crown City simply because it was so close. Marvin greeted me, asked me questions and explained what I should look for when purchasing tires. They didn’t have the tires in stock, but he offered to put on my spare -free of charge- and sent me down the street to a different shop. They were nice enough, but going to take hours to get to me. So, I got back in my car, turned around and headed back to Crown City where I knew I’d be taken care of. Marvin got my tires ordered and I was sent home with instructions to drive slowly and carefully on my spare. I was so relieved to be heading home at a decent time after a long day. I absolutely love this place! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, a wonderful car service and a complete explanation of my cars needs- with photos and all! I dropped my car at 8:30 am, was called an hour later with suggestions for repairs, and picked up at 3pm- which was the time I had requested. Everything was perfect! My car runs wonderfully and I feel confident and safe driving it. I will be coming here for all my future car needs!! Thank you Crown City!

Wonderful experience. From the firsy call to get a quote on tires, to pick up of my car, service was A+. Very reasonable prices, great communication throughout and job was completed when they stated. Would definitely recommend and use them again! Customer service was great! Seamless process.

As always, Crown serviced our car in a professional and efficient manner for a reasonable price. As a community based group, they offer a ride home or a ride to pick up our car. Their maintenance reports are thorough and provide a road map what items need to be attended to immediately vs waiting til the next service visit we also know what items our car is performing well and in good condition. Always a pleasure with the guys at the desk and the techs working there. We are treated professionally and with respect and never made to feel dumb. Everything is explained in a professional manner.

They get two stars, because I used to like this place. That ended this week. I called on Monday as my catalytic converter was stolen, and Steven told me it would be around $1500, and be done Tuesday or Wednesday. I’m now leaving on Friday for nearly triple the cost. I cannot fathom how being that far off, on an estimate of cost, or time, is acceptable. If you have a nail in your tire, you can go here. If you have real work you need done? Do better research than I did.
