I've been here a few times, one time in particular I was driving and hit something coming back from New York City, An imperfection in the road north of White plains On the expressway caught me off guard and rattled my teeth and some of my car. Didn't know what the rattling was, after continuing to drive and took it to CT, they were quickly able to assess that the cat had become disconnected from the exhaust, they cut it out and welded on a new one and I was back on the road in no time. These guys have always taken care of me so I think it's only right to leave them a review. Brakes, oil changes, other requests that I've made that I'm sure they don't normally do, they've taken on the challenge and have sent me away satisfied every time. Good guys, good atmosphere, would recommend.

Very personal over the phone. Last a few questions and they were able to give me at least some advice. Good advice. Knowledgeable and seemed very honest and price seemed very reasonable. Can't wait to give up another call to make an appointment for my Ridgeline . I did follow through and go in for my exhaust and I had a feeling that my rear brakes were needed. They looked at both and gave me a great price. Did a great job on my exhaust. Ended up getting a whole new custom welded exhaust and also new rear ceramic brake pads and rotors. Their price was great . A better deal than most shops would have charged, Also they worked quickly and did an amazing job. I had been recommended CT Discount Muffler & Brake a while ago by a colleague. I recently stopped in to inquire about a brake job on my vehicle. I was pleasantly greeted and was quoted a fair price for the job. The technician doing my brakes was a pro and made sure the job was done correctly. It was a painless straightforward no nonsense experience with no bogus upsells or fees.

Do not go here at all. The owner has no knowledge of what he's doing. Workers don't speak English and don't understand the problems to fix any exhaust. They replaced my sensors and said I needed a small part in my exhaust cut and redone. Maybe 2 ft of straight pipe. They changed the part and my exhaust is now rattling so bad the interior of my car vibrates. He refuses to fix it or even look at it. He kept saying it wasn't from him yet he's the only one who touched my exhaust. He talks down to you and makes you feel stupid. I Looked up reviews and bbb on company and it's all negative reviews. Stay far away. No wonder he can take anyone in at anytime. Huge loss of hundreds of dollars with this company just to find another place to fix their mistake on my car for a few bucks and problem solve

I came in for a rattling vibration, owner told me I needed a muffler,installed for 690.00!! When I got in, still making terrible rattle. Thought I was a moron, kept telling me to drive it it would go away. Did work I didn't need, refuses to give me anything back. Was insulting my intelligence, took advantage of me, gave me a part I didn't need. Contacting BBB Ps. It was the heat shield that was rattling underneath it took a real mechanic 5 minutes to diagnose it and fixed it for $50. Stay away from this shop!!!!!! They were not honest to me!!
