Rating is a big fat 0. Called and got an appointment set. I let theme know I was living in the unit, and working locally. Appointment was for 7/30/24. Showed up at 7:30am. Took a couple hours to get checked in. Once checked in they told me to comeback tomorrow. They said they had a fuel pump in stock,if that was the issue. 7/31/24 Showed back up . We were going to leave the unit there so they could work on. A technician was supposed to let me know where to park. So I could plug into shore power. After waiting 45 min and nobody talking with us. I walked in and told them I don’t have time to wait all day. And left. Then tried calling them. That was a waste of time. I pushed but for operator, no answer, generator sales, no answer. Cummins has perfected how to manufacture defective new motors with a scam/ no warranty. We Recently purchased an RV with a “new” Cummins motor. Motor catastrophically failed within about 30 days. Turns out that Cummins manufactured a defective motor, had the motor secretly repaired by an under trained outsourced entity prior to representing the motor as “new” to the end customer. Cummins defense is basically “they did not touch it last” and there was no warranty to cover the repair that was approved and performed prior to the customer buying the motor as “new”. The “we did not touch it last” fake warranty program is brilliant. Customer is now stuck for the last 18 months with a motor that has been built/repaired 4 times with no warranty.
