Curtis Transmission / Joe's Auto Service

First of all I have been using Curtis transmission for years and recommend them to everyone that asks me about a good mechanic. This transaction was somewhat different because I had acquired my mother's 20-year-old vehicle. I had it towed to Curtis transmission and they did diagnostics and assessed other issues with the vehicle. They had it for approximately 3 days. The repairs would have totaled up to more than I wanted to put into the vehicle. I was charged a very minimal fee due to the circumstances. Again I highly recommend them as an honest, knowledgeable, and fair priced establishment.

We are out of town and needed a transmission checked for fluid levels. Called a couple of shops who couldn’t/wouldn’t help us on short notice. Called Curtis transmission and they said yes bring it by. Took our car right in and got it done pretty quick for a very reasonable price. Would absolutely give this small business a ten star rating if I could!! This small owned business has such kind caring people. Thank you so much!!

Curtis transmission has worked on my truck twice and I was satisfied with the cost and length of time to make the repair. It's not easy to find a place that can work on a dually with an 8ft box but they can handle it. The owner and shop manager are easy to deal with and will make sure your vehicle is taken care of. I will continue to take my truck there for any repair needs.

My experience was very pleasant, professional, and completed on time. Jim, the owner, was very helpful and very honest in helping me get my repair completed with the right parts. She kept us in the loop and called me letting me know what they have to do. The owner was great as well and also kept me in the loop. All the mechanics there were very helpful as well.
