As someone with extensive history and experience with this shop, be warned and advised D & S is the very epitome of the term "crooked mechanic". I made the mistake of bringing my vehicle to Doug Turner's shop since it was the only auto repair my mother had ever used growing up. Regardless, it won't be a mistake I make a second time. I'm not completely ignorant in the field of mechanic work, though I'm not extremely knowledgeable either. Nevertheless, anyone and everyone should understand this: My SUV had a wheel bearing that badly needed replaced. We waited 5 weeks without hearing from him directly as the car owners. I called a few times, as well as my husband. I am 34 weeks pregnant and needed to have my vehicle fixed or at least inspected and tested to know if I should buy a new vehicle before I go into labor. He never called me or my husband back and would only talk to 3rd party if they showed up at his shop. My car never left the spot we dropped it off to for 5 whole weeks. I would give this guy negative stars if possible... terrible experience! I scheduled an equipment installation for my car online. The installation was straightforward and supposed to take no longer than an hour... took this guy 5 hours! Then he charged me an extra $45. Next, as it turns out, he didn't install it properly. I had to pay $130 to have my car towed from Speedway in Glasgow back to his shop. I started trying to contact the shop by phone the first day... no answer. Second day, several calls, some back to back, still no answer. Third day, tried calling 6 times back to back, still no answer. So I called the online place who provided the equipment, they were able to get a hold of him, and informed me he said: "We don't answer out of town numbers." The online service put me on 3way w

Doug went out of his way to help me when I needed help! As he always has, an I'm sure he always will. Good, professional, and very knowledgeable man, I'm glad to have him and his employees in my corner to do any engine or repair work. I'll always recommend his shop for any work. Good man!!!

Excellent service, very honest and good prices on the work involved. I highly recommend this shop and plan on giving them all my auto work.
