UPDATE: Had another service done at Dan Hecht recently and it was fast and efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you!!! Sadly, not a great experience after being a repeat customer for years. I shared it with the office manager and she was very thankful for the feedback. Had an 11am appt for new tires and alignment. The loaner car we were given was old and rusty, dog hair all over seats, thick sticky residue in both cup holders. We were told it would be finished by 2pm. At 3:45, still no call so I called and was told they were finishing up the alignment. Around 4:30, they called saying the car before it had issues so they needed to wait and do our alignment the next morning. We recently purchased a used vehicle from Dan Hecht, after purchasing a new vehicle there a year ago. On both occasions the sales staff were a pleasure to work with, they were not pushy, and worked to find the right vehicles for us. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a vehicle in the Effingham area.

Had car trouble passing through Effingham on our way to KC. Needed to order a part so they helped us work out transportation to KC so we could continue the trip that day. Car was ready the next week when promised. Tammy was great! Also, they knew we would be a “one time” customer since we don’t live there yet they treated us like we were regulars and did everything they could to help us.
