Dropped my 2018 ram 2500 6.7 off at 8am for a appointment at 2pm called for a update and was told that they have not looked at it i told the lady behind the desk i needed the truck back at 4 because it is my only transportation and she laughed i said fine I'm coming to get my truck i will never use them again

Made an appointment because I had a check engine light on. Waited over a week for this appointment. Dropped off my truck at 8am for it's appointment. At around 2 I called and asked for an update, was told it hadn't been looked at but it would be later that day and was told they would call me. At 4:50 I called them to find out what was happening. Was told they didn't have time to look at my truck. Because they failed to do anything on my truck, and CALL ME TO KEEP ME INFORMED I picked up my truck at 8am the following day. I have never used Dan's before and will not be using them in the future.

I took my diesel truck into Dan's last December because it had a couple of hard starts. They replaced the lift pump $800+, it worked for a week. Then they replaced the injector pump $2500 lasted a couple of weeks. Then they supposedly cleaned and tightened the entire fuel system. Worked for a couple weeks. Had it towed back for the 3rd time. Estimate was $1000+ to replace the injector tubes. This all went on for over 6 months. But every week or two or four it wouldn't start. I took it to another shop. They kept it for a week, fixed an active fuel leak (tightened a crossover tube) and tightened a fuel line joint. $255. Has started every time since. I feel like Dan's was just throwing parts at it rather than real troubleshooting. Did I really need a new $2500 injector pump? Or did I need pr

Not quite sure what is going on at this shop but they are not the repair shop they used to be. We have had our truck towed there 3 times for the same fuel injection issue. The third time they said they had the mechanic go through 'everything' and make sure it was right. And then it again wouldn't start and was towed back. After $3000 and months of this they wanted to charge us another $1200 for some new issue. We had it towed to another diesel shop in Albany and after a $250 diagnostic - the issue was loose fittings and connections. So now I have to wonder if the $3000 worth of work was even necessary. So much for their top guy "going through everything" when he didn't even notice that they hadn't tightened the fittings THEY replaced.

I am updating my review. My 2006 HD. Was having issues transmissions. They determined that it was the transmission control module. They recommended a I go to the local dealer and get a new transmission control module and have it reflashed. Because they couldn't do that. I could not buy a new one at the dealer because they're a national backwarder so I found a used module. Took it to the local dealer and it was a terrible experience at the local dealership service center. I talk to Dan and his crew. Because the dealer also found an issue with the tow hall button on my truck. Dan felt so bad how I was treated off his recommendation to go to the local dealership.
