I can’t say enough good things about this Shell station. The pricing is fair and the service is outstanding. I used to spend ten times as much at the dealer and still didn’t get this level of personalized care. The owner, Rakhee Dhawan, is extremely knowledgeable and works hard to get the best possible deals on parts. Her staff is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Rakhee truly goes above and beyond. I was getting quotes close to $1,000 elsewhere to fix my rearview mirror, and she took care of it for a nominal charge. Since finding her shop, I won’t take my car anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend and give 5+ stars to Darnestown Shell (Rocky's garage and mechanics). Every time I have visited, the service has been exceptional, but this last Friday was over the top exceptional. The mechanics are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly honest and transparent. They did my brakes this week and then test drove my car. The mechanic said the car was shaking and vibrating very badly. I thought this was normal. They took the time to thoroughly explain the issues with my car in a way I could understand. I took my car to get MD inspected over here. I had a great experience taking my car here because even though my inspection failed, the manager explained to me why it failed because of the tint. The tint specification allowed in MD is 29% and mine was 30%. They charge me $50 to remove the tints and passed me for the inspection the same day. This was so convenient and the staff was so helpful! I just moved here and I am going to continue coming back to this station for my other needs!

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR MD STATE INSPECTION. About two weeks ago I brought my mini van here. They wanted over 1k for repairs after I failed inspection. They also fixed the door without my permission and charged me for it. Anyways, I took it somewhere else and got my repairs done for $400 and saved over $600 and passed inspection. Clearly, they make money off failed inspection. I thought to myself they didn’t charge me for reinspecting the car so I’ll try this place again when my brother purchased a new car in VA only a few years old. How wrong I was…. I could not be happier with the care and service I receive from this shop. You can expect fantastic service at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this shop! I don’t trust anyone else in the state with my car. Rahkee and staff are very knowledgeable. They walk you through needed repairs and always keep you informed. My car is running like a charm!
