My husband took our VW Passat to Das Autohaus because of an oil leak. The problem was diagnosed, fully explained and fixed promptly. My husband is a tough critic but came home praising this business. He appreciated the clear communication, good price, spotless work environment and professionalism. We are only in Lexington for a little over a year and have not found a good reliable auto repair shop until now!!

Incredible experience, great communications, fast, and friendly. I took my son's 2013 Tiguan to a shop in Columbia for an engine issue and they said it was not worth fixing and it should be taken to a junkyard. I got it towed to Das Autohaus for a 2nd opinion and they were able to fix it for a very reasonable price (saving me thousands of dollars from having to buy another car). Alison was great throughout and explained things in great detail. Highly recommended if you have a VW.

Bought my youngest daughter a 2022 VW TAOS in January as an early Graduation gift. Warranty as stated by the salesman was BS. I found this out when she said it was shaking at 45 to 50 mph. I did some checking and found the CV Axle was in bad shape. My other mechanic would not even try to fix it and told me to take it to the dealer. Previous BS = not an option. Brought my mk6 GTI in for their expertise. Great services from great people that are VW/Audi enthusiasts. Also, Allison is consistent with communicating updates. Highly recommend them and won’t be going anywhere else for my VW/Audi needs. Bonus: they’re an authorized APR retailer so if you want to get the most out of your car I highly recommend talking to them about their performance parts/tunes.
