I was recommended to Dave's by a friend who has been a loyal customer for decades, and now I completely understand why. I had my water pump replaced, and the service was fast, reasonably priced, and done right the first time. Recently, I went to a different shop for an oil change, and they performed an inspection that left me with $6,000 in repair estimates. I was hesitant, so I took my car back to Dave's. From the moment I walked in, Jamie and the mechanics treated me with genuine kindness and respect. They took the time to carefully inspect my car, explain their findings, and let me know that none of the repairs suggested by the other shop were actually needed. They were honest with me, even when it would have been easier, or more profitable, for them to suggest unnecessary work. Their

Quick turnaround. Honest business. They communicated that I might need new struts but wouldn't know till the take off other parts.. rhey checked and when my car didn't need the extra struts they could have put them on and told me I needed them and didn't. Thank you so much!

Best mechanic in the state. I will never go anywhere else if I can help it. They diagnosed an engine issue years before anyone else caught it, and I would probably still have that same car if I didn't start going to a mechanic closer to my house who "fixed" the problem and then misdiagnosed it. My family has been taking cars to Dave's for years, and my family has decades-old cars that still run great. Everyone here is honest too. They had the opportunity to sell me thousand-dollar fixes that I was ready to pay for, but they're the kind of people who say "let's try an oil change first." They even gave me advice about the DMV that saved me some major hassle. Their prices are competitive too, and I would stil come to Dave's if they weren't. I can't speak highly enough of this place.

They did an alignment without telling me that all four tires on my vehicle were separate tires 🤦. After taking it to different mechanic, they immediately told me right away. These people definitely don't have your best interest in mind. 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭: What a completely disingenuous response to my experience 😐. If they told me it needed tires, then why even do the alignment? How does that make any sense? 🤦 I originally did not pay for the alignment because the seller offered to pay it for me, which is completely irrelevant, you should provide a good experience no matter who pays the bill, but even so, I had to pay for a new alignment WITH MY MONEY anyway because of these people's disingenuous and incompetent service.. 1 Star Review Subject: BEWARE $108 oil change ultimately cost us $12000 for a new engine We chose Dave’s Automotive based upon AAA endorsement and then established a relationship over the last year. After a routine oil change, we began having issues within 124 miles of driving from Dave’s. As we were driving up the mountain with no place to pull over safely, our Jeep’s low oil pressure warning light flashed. By the time we could safely stop, the Jeep was smoking. Towed to the closest garage. We were informed in the report that “an oil leak has been present for a long time” and later verbally told this has been an issue for many months and possibly up to a year of our Jeep leaking oil. When we asked Jeff at Dave’s why we had never been informed of the issue, he stated that it was written
