A Google search, two honest men, and I have never looked back. Prem and Roberto have been taking care of my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek for a few months now - fixing my brakes, replacing my right axle and checking my tires - and will continue to do so. Fair pricing, good conversations, and everything you need from a mom and pop auto shop. 100/10 would recommend!
Can't thank Prem enough! I just moved to (West) Oakland. Barely two weeks in, my catalytic converter was stolen, along with the oxygen sensors. (I drive a 2010 Prius. I was naive to think that nobody would care for it. I only had street parking.) Prem was kind enough to charge me better than a fair price since he understood that the cost of moving can be high! He also offered me a place to park until I found a better and secure parking arrangement. Prem is an outstanding person and I have found my go-to mechanic here in Oakland. A loud shout-out to Prem and Dave's Auto Services!
This shop does good, honest work. They laid out different options for replacing my cold air intake so I could pass the smog check. It’s been a few months now, and my car is still running great. The staff is very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and willing to chat and explain things. I was very happy to find a good mechanic after moving halfway across the country, and I plan to come here for any future work my vehicle needs.
PERM greeted me with a professional hand shake and then proceeded to inspect the breaks on my toyota camary. He was professional and gave me a very reasonable price quote for OEM original Equipment Manufactured parts. I definitely recommend PERM to supply your auto service needs. He is friendly, professional, and treats his customers with dignity and respect.
Prem is a generous and kind soul AND does good, honest, affordable mechanical work! I could not be more grateful for finding him and his shop and having a local mechanic I trust! At my most recent visit, he charged half (and then some!) of what I was quoted at another shop to replace a part for my Ford Focus, and in hours rather than days. Highly recommend 🧡
